HISTORY
Redeemer’s High School, Redemption City, was founded by Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) E.A. Adeboye and commenced operations in 1997. The school was officially dedicated on January 3, 1998.
The school is situated within Redemption City, the serene and spiritually vibrant international headquarters of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), located at Km 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Mowe, Ogun State, Nigeria.
This tranquil and purpose-driven environment provides an ideal setting for learning and character development. Since its inception, Redeemer’s High School has consistently produced graduates who embody leadership, academic excellence, and strong moral values, fully prepared to excel in life and make meaningful contributions to society.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS
The school is governed by professionals from various walks of life. This Board serves as the highest decision-making body, providing strategic direction and oversight for the school.

STAFF
Redeemer’s High School is staffed by a team of highly qualified, competent, and disciplined Christian teaching and non-teaching personnel. They view their roles as both a professional calling and a ministry unto God.
The teaching staff serve as mentors, seeing students as divine heritage and invaluable gifts. In this mentoring role, they act as leaders, advisors, tutors, guardians, and spiritual guides, committed to nurturing the students' academic, moral, and spiritual development while fostering their journey toward eternal values.
All teachers are professionally certified and work diligently to drive students toward academic excellence in both internal assessments and external examinations. The primary language of instruction is English, except for subjects such as French, Yoruba, and Igbo.


JUNIOR SECTION
The Junior School offers a three-year foundational program that introduces students to essential concepts in science, art, and commerce, preparing them for Senior School education.
Subjects approved by the Nigeria Education Research and Development Council (NERDC) are taught at this level. Students are required to sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the Ogun State Basic Education Examination to obtain their Junior School Certificates at the end of Year 9.

SENIOR SECTION
Over 85% of students who completed their studies in the junior section of the school continue their education in the ssenior section, where they specialize in subject areas guided by empirical assessment and counselling. At the end of the three-year program, students sit for national and international examinations, including:
• West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
• National Examinations Council Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
Our students are also tutored for international examinations such as
• Cambridge IGCSE
• SAT
• Check point (usually by Year 9)
The school is equipped with modern facilities to enhance teaching and learning, fostering a conducive environment for academic excellence.

INTEGRATION OF BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE
Biblical principles are seamlessly incorporated into all teaching and learning processes to promote the holistic development of students. This approach aligns with our commitment to nurturing strong moral values and cultivating godly leadership qualities, in line with our school’s mission.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Students actively engage in a wide range of games and sporting activities, supported by the school's well-equipped facilities designed to accommodate diverse interests and talents.
To foster healthy competition and teamwork, the Inter-House Sports Competition is held bi-annually and serves as a platform for students to showcase their skills and sportsmanship.
The school organizes these competitions among four houses:

• Goshen (Green House)
In addition to sports, students are encouraged to engage in both subject-based and non-subject-based clubs to foster personal development and broaden their learning experiences.

Active club participation is a core part of student life, with each student required to join two clubs to maximize their co-curricular engagement.

BOARDING HOUSE
Our Boarding House serves as a home away from home, fostering a supportive environment for the holistic development of each student. Equipped with essential amenities, it ensures a comfortable and nurturing living experience. The hostel is managed by a dedicated team comprising House Fathers, House Mothers, all operating under the oversight of the Vice Principal (Administration).

ASSEMBLY SCHEDULE
To foster closer engagement with students and advance our mission of nurturing future, innovative leaders, the following assembly structure has been implemented:
• Monday & Friday: General/School Assembly
• Tuesday: Class Assembly
• Wednesday: Form Assembly (all arms of a class gather together)
• Thursday: Gender-Based or Mentoring Assembly (held alternately)
These sessions provide opportunities for holistic student development and continuous mentorship.

COUNSELLING SERVICES
The school's Counselling Department is led by two highly experienced and dedicated counsellors, committed to supporting students in career selection, social adjustment, and overall well-being. A range of quality programs is offered, including individualized counselling sessions, class guidance lessons, and group counselling. Over the years, initiatives such as seminars, career days, and talk shows have been organized to help students excel in their cognitive, emotional, and social development.

VISITING
The designated visiting day is the Saturday of the monthly Holy Ghost Service, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

OPEN DAY
Open Day provides parents with an opportunity to review their children's academic progress and school records. Active participation is encouraged, and the event is held once per term, just before the midterm break.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Our school welcomes students of all backgrounds, including diverse tribes, races, genders, denominations, and faiths. Students aged 10 and above who have successfully completed six years of primary education are eligible to apply. Guided by our vision to provide transformative education, we prepare students to navigate life's challenges confidently and successfully. All students are obliged to be tutored in biblical principles.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Application forms can be obtained from the school premises, through our website or any designated examination centre and are available exclusively to parents of children meeting the entry age requirement.
Submission Requirements:
• Completed application form
• Child's birth certificate
• Latest school report from the current school
Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Upon successful completion of the admission process, candidates receive an official letter of admission. Registration is finalized upon full payment of school fees.

TRANSFER STUDENT ADMISSION GUIDELINE
Admission for transfer students into JS2 and SS1 is offered based on the following criteria:
• Submission Requirements: Applicants must provide reference letters and recent academic reports from their previous school.
• Qualifying Examination: All transfer students are required to sit for a mandatory entrance examination.
• Limited Availability: Admission spaces are limited and granted upon successful completion of the requirements.
• Application Period: Transfer forms are available for purchase annually starting from 1st July.
